Respecting Cultural Diversity 

Throughout our history, AJ Adkinson & Son are proud to have worked closely with the Oadby and greater Leicestershire communities. We’re familiar with how the area has evolved and celebrate the cultural diversity that this brings to our funeral arrangements. Collaborating with faith leaders, we have created a purpose-built facility to accommodate specific community requirements, putting their needs at the forefront of our work.

Finding peace in our service room

On our premises, we offer private space to conduct ritual bathing and a bespoke Chapel of Rest and service room. These have been purpose-built to accommodate larger families that wish to pay respects or conduct their cultural rituals undisturbed. Our large,
on-site private car park offers convenience and ease at such a difficult time.

Supporting you in grief

In addition to beautiful, restful facilities, we also ensure that same-sex members of our team are on hand to assist with your needs. You may require help to bathe or dress your loved one or may ask us to carry out part or all of the ritual on your behalf. Whatever your requirements, we’re here to help and have the expertise to support you.
